Rested. Next!

Friday night dinner = turkey sausages, sweet potato wedges baked in the oven and a spring mix salad. Feels like a “cheat”, but isn’t! And since I don’t eat pasta or bread, that sweet potato is going to be what I use to carb-load for my weekly long run tomorrow morning. Delicious!

Very excited to hit the treadmill again.  As much as I hate rest days, this one did me a world of good.  That extra hour of sleep and two protein shakes with a few scoops of glutamine chased all the soreness away.  My body is itching for a good, hard gym session. And knowing I have that long run ahead of me, I might just treat myself to a couple handfuls of M&Ms.

OK, ok…I already did. Hey, it’s Friday!
