Looking on the Bright Side

Slightly better news than yesterday…I have more range of motion and a little less pain in my arm.  Of course this might be due to the two muscle relaxants and the resulting epic nap, but I’m holding on to whatever glimmer of hope I can. If it keeps improving at this rate, I should be able to hop on  the treadmill before the end of the week.

In the meantime, I’m going to take advantage of this forced rest.  I don’t think I’ve taken more than a couple of days off in years since I tend to work out even on vacation.  Might be time for some intense recovery – increase the protein and glutamine, lots of sleep and some extra stretching. Who knows? Maybe this will actually result in better performance once I’m able to get back to it. One can hope anyway!
