Check!

May 10, 2014

I came.

I saw.

I rode a horse.

Today was my first riding lesson. Only spent about ten or fifteen minutes actually on the horse as the lesson also covers grooming, tacking and cooling down, but that will increase as the course progresses. Have to say I absolutely loved it and can’t decide whether that’s a good or bad thing considering how expensive ongoing lessons are once the course itself is over.  Me and my champagne tastes on a beer budget.

Anyway, that’s for future Sara to worry about. Present Sara has seven more weeks of horse knowledge to soak up. So happy that I decided to finally scratch this one off the bucket list!

  1. Very cool! Growing up in Ohio, we would go every weekend to volunteer at a horse farm. I spent a lot of my childhood in the saddle. Sadly though, I don’t think I’ve been on a horse since grade school.
