Oh my. Yesterday definitely took it all out of me. All I’ve done today is sleep, lounge around the house and eat ALL OF THE CARBS. Rice and lentils from the Middle Eastern place, left over veggies from last night’s dinner and an entire bar of Green and Blacks 70% dark chocolate have all been consumed by this woman. I guess the huge calorie deficit caught up with me.


Weirdly I kind of feel like a run right now but am fighting the urge and trying to follow my taper schedule. I did hit the gym this morning to work on core before I went into sloth mode but something about the coolness of the day makes me want to get out there. 10K on tap for tomorrow morning if I can keep my feet off the street today. Maybe I’ll have another nap instead.

So here’s something I’m excited about…we’ve all heard/done the cauliflower crust pizza by now right? Been there, done that. It’s good but I’m kind of over it. Well, look what popped up in my email the other day. Sweet potato crust pizza!  It’s on the menu this week for sure. I will provide a verdict in a few days, but if you’ve tried it already, let me know in the comments. Really want to know if this is as good as it sounds. I hate disappointment.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I think it’s time for a protein shake. One cannot live on carbs alone…as delicious as that would be.
